If September and October had consecrated Tazio Nuvolari as a legend of the automobile tracks, November reveals instead the authentic soul of the “Flying Mantuan”: that of the centaur who, before dominating the circuits in cars, first set crowds ablaze astride his motorcycle.

November was, for him, the month of great feats on two wheels, when the roar of the Bianchi Freccia Celeste 350 ccbecame music powerful enough to stir the hearts of the spectators. Every corner was a duel, every straight a cry of defiance against destiny.

And it was in this very month, on November 24, 1929, that Nuvolari wrote one of the most memorable pages of his motorcycle career. At Santa Margherita Ligure, in the VI Circuito del Golfo del Tigullio, the Mantuan champion prevailed with strength and determination, seizing not only first place overall, but also victory in the 350 cc class. A decisive triumph that showcased his technical mastery, his indomitable grit, and his perfect symbiosis with his beloved Freccia Celeste.

That day remained etched not only in the annals of sport, but also in popular memory: because in Santa Margherita Ligure, amid the sea and the winding roads of Liguria, the crowd witnessed a display of courage and talent that sealed Nuvolari’s legend even on two wheels.

Thus, November, the month in which his birth is celebrated ,is forever tied to the image of Tazio the motorcyclist: a warrior and a dominator of races, capable of winning anywhere, in any way, and against anyone.

In fact, during this month of his career, he competed in 9 races (7 on motorcycles and 2 in cars), achieving 9 podiums in total, and winning 7 on motorcycles with his legendary Bianchi Freccia Celeste 350 cc.
