Today, in the evocative setting of the Museo Virgilio, an atmosphere filled with anticipation and European pride took center stage. During the press conference presenting La Notte dei Musei, scheduled in Mantua on Sunday, May 16, 2026, culture once again revealed its most vibrant and unifying spirit.

Representing the Museo Tazio Nuvolari was the Director of ACI Mantova, Dr. Giuseppe Pottocar, who took part in a moment of shared vision, where cultural institutions and local organizations came together to celebrate Mantua’s rich historical and artistic heritage.
Mantua is now preparing for a truly special day, when museums and cultural venues will remain open to welcome visitors into a journey of discovery, emotion, and memory. “La Notte dei Musei” is more than just an event, it is an invitation to be inspired, to reconnect with our roots, and to experience culture as a shared language capable of uniting generations across Europe.

Embracing this spirit, the Museo Tazio Nuvolari has enthusiastically joined the initiative with a program designed to engage a wide and passionate audience:
- From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM: free entry for Supercard Cultura holders and reduced ticket price of €5.00;
- From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (free admission, no reservation required): presentation of the book by Diego Alverà, “Giro di pista. Circuiti e piloti che hanno fatto la storia della velocità” Casa Editrice (66thand2nd).

A valuable opportunity to dive not only into the history of motorsport, but also into the compelling stories of circuits and drivers who shaped an era.

At the Museum, a multilingual digital platform is available free of charge for all visitors where, through their smartphone or tablet, it is possible to access emotional paths parallel to the visit to deepen what is exhibited. You can discover by approaching the display case, for example containing the heirloom / cup of a race, an exhaustive card of the race where you can see and read: video; anecdotes and curiosities; the poster; path; the car used and its engine roar with some pictures and its 3D model.
It does not require any installation but a simple internet connection (iWAEM by GlobalMedia)).
